Terms of Service

Welcome to Christ Mountain Studios. By using our website, booking appointments, engaging our services, or visiting our studio, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please review them carefully.

Service Agreements and Bookings

We recommend booking in advance to ensure availability for your preferred dates and times. All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A deposit may be required to secure your booking date, which will be applied toward your final invoice.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may result in forfeiture of deposits or cancellation fees. Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or rescheduling, and full payment may still be required.

We understand that emergencies happen and will work with clients on a case-by-case basis for legitimate emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.

Pricing and Payments

Service prices are subject to change without prior notice, though quoted prices for confirmed bookings will be honored. Payment terms will be clearly outlined in your service agreement:

  • Deposits may be required to secure booking dates
  • Final payment is typically due upon completion of services or delivery of final products
  • We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and valid gift cards
  • Payment plans may be available for larger projects upon request

Packages and Promotions

Our starter package and promotional offers are subject to specific terms and conditions. Package contents are clearly defined and cannot be substituted without prior agreement. Promotions may not be combined unless explicitly stated and are subject to availability and time restrictions.

Delivery and Timeline

Delivery timelines for photos and videos will be specified in your service agreement. We strive to meet all deadlines, but delivery times may vary based on project complexity, editing requirements, and current workload. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information about project requirements and expectations
  • Being present and on time for scheduled appointments
  • Ensuring all necessary permissions and releases are obtained for filming/photography locations
  • Providing feedback in a timely manner during the revision process

Intellectual Property and Usage Rights

Upon full payment, clients receive usage rights to their commissioned work as specified in the service agreement. Christ Mountain Studios retains the right to use select work samples for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Original raw files and outtakes remain the property of Christ Mountain Studios.

Satisfaction and Revisions

Your satisfaction is important to us. We include a specific number of revisions with each package. Additional revisions beyond those included may incur additional charges. If you are not satisfied with the final product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can address your concerns.

Liability and Equipment

Christ Mountain Studios is not responsible for:

  • Delays or cancellations due to weather, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control
  • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings during shoots
  • Technical equipment failure, though we maintain backup equipment and procedures
  • Third-party vendor issues (venues, other contractors, etc.)

Mobile Studio Services

Our mobile studio services are available throughout San Bernardino, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties. Travel fees may apply for locations beyond our standard service area. Clients are responsible for ensuring adequate space, power access, and any necessary permits for on-location shoots.

SMS/Text Messaging Terms

By opting in to our SMS/Text Messaging services, you agree to receive automated reminders, updates, and promotional content. You may opt out by replying STOP or OUT at any time. Message and data rates may apply. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Privacy and Confidentiality

We maintain strict confidentiality regarding all client projects and personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

Force Majeure

Christ Mountain Studios is not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, pandemic restrictions, or other acts of God.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through good faith negotiation. If necessary, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration under California state law.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. Continued use of our services implies acceptance of the revised terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notice.
